the stock reg on the bushy works best with an input pressure of 500 psi. anything more and you will stress the reg and reduce gas efficency, anything less and you will have air starvation in the primary reg and will result in a loss of performance during rapid firing. doublecheck the output pressure of the nitro tank, most preset tanks give 850 psi.
co2 will operate the gun, but if any liquid co2 gets into the gun it will damage the solonoid assembly. in my opinion, its not worth the risk. wait till you get the nitro. i use an air america raptor setup on my bushy and it works "flawlessly." however, if you do decide to use co2, make darn sure that you use an antisiphon tank and a palmers stabilizer reg.
: hey im planning on getting a nitro tank for the bushy im about to by first of all i heard that they need to use low pressure tanks or else they work porly so like would a crossfire 45/45 preset at 400psi work great or dose it make a difference either way and before our town had nitro fill ups a guy who used to play with us used a bushy with the fish gill milling on co2 and it seemed to sure work great it kicked my a** so can i use co2 till i get my nitro if not in actuall games just to try it out? lmk guys i really need to know thanks
