I'm new to the bushmaster forum and bushmasters in general , but it sounds to me like you have your high pressure reg set too high. I read in a post just above this one that the pressure should be set below 200 psi.

I know with a cocker that if you get the input pressure too high then the back pressure on the valve is more than the spring can open , giving you low shot fps.

Try re-adjusting your input reg and see what happens.
