: Hello BM2K list !

: I am trying (really hard) to get out of my Tribal (Out of Business) and get a Bushmaster. Just wnated some feedback on the following aftermarket parts:

: - Vapor Valve (vs. Sonic Red)
: - Eclipse Blade Trigger
: - Sonic LPR
: - Sonic Ram Gauge
: - ???? ASA Adapter (Sonic vs. Eclipe vs. LAPCO)
: - ???? Bolts (Eclipse SupaSlik vs. OTHERS)

: Is paying the extra for LCD worth it ? I just play recball about twice a month, not planning on moving up to any tourney play but you never know.

: Thanks,

: DaveC

: Also Best place to buy one ?

::The Vapor job re-works the valve you send in with the gun (at leastit did when I had my gun done over a year ago). I sent in a CheckIt valve and Kapp cup seal and the gun now runs at about 180 psi, which as I understand it, is about where the Red valve puts you.

The blade trigger looks good; I doubt if it really makes much difference. A heavier trigger return spring does help; I actually prefer the sideways play in the stock trigger to a wider trigger.

The Sonic LP reg works fine, but actually the stock one on my #2 Bushy does also. The Sonic ram gauge is very handy to adjust your (and your friends') LP reg(s).

I use an OTP adapter. The real issues here are looks, overall length, and whether it has a gauge port (unnecessary unless you like to constantly display your operating pressure).

Stick with the stock bolt. It works fine and at a lower pressure than the Supra-slick bolts.

I have no use for an LCD display. My teammates' Angel LCDs have electronic problems periodically. Also, when I play paintball I do things like shoot, run, pop out, lie down, reload, eliminate the opposition and get shot out myself, NOT look at an electronic display that's just one more thing to go wrong. The only advantage I can see is the built-in game timer (I use a $16 Radio Shack timer).

Regards,

Superannuated
