: I have a defiant with a warp feed. I put new batteries Energizer E's not cheap ones, adjust the pot until it run all the time and start working back from there. I have to mess with almost every time I play. I don't leave the battery hooked up. Has any one else had this problem? Does the gun just not kick as hard as an angel or other electro's and not set off the sensor? Help me here 'cuz I love the warp feed.

It's not so much how hard the kick is as to how high the frequency is of the vibration during firing. Are you using the Airgun Designs Warp feed or the ProTeam Warp Feed? The AGD version (they're both made by AGD, btw) has the vibration sensor in the Warp, and I've had no problems with that setup on my e-mag. However, I was concerned with the Matrix having heavy enough vibration to trigger the Warp I'd put on it. I stopped in at ProTeam on Friday and picked up one of their Warp mounts. The Pro Team mount has the vibration sensor in the mount, and it's a little more adjustable (fit better on the Matrix). I plugged that sensor into the Warp, and soldered jumper across a diode on the back (According to ProTeam that greatly increases the sensitivity with an external sensor) - now, a light tap pretty much anywhere on the Matrix with a plastic screwdriver handle sets it off - it's WAY more sensitive.

See you on the field,
-Bill Mills
