: I want to use a nonadjustable tank on my bushmaster. Would I be better off buying the Pure energy secondary reg (the one the tank screws into) or a reg adaptor, regulator (most likely a vigilante), and an asa. Money is a issue as I would rather spend it on paint than upgrades.

:: I have used the Vigilante with both fixed and adjustable air systems with very good results. Just make sure that you get the low pressure spring (it's glossy black) for use with the Bushy.

:: I haven't seen anyone use the PE reg on their Bushy, but consider that the Vig has been around for a while, and is a proven reg. The Air America web site has great maintenance support (instructions and diagrams).

Regards,

Superannuated
