Trust me, you will, everyone does :) Just kidding. Anywyay, the Pro Carbine and the Custom 98 are pretty comparable, but you would have an easier time finding parts and upgrades for the Custom 98. So, it comes down to which you like better. You need to try them both and get a feel for which you prefer. If it was me, I would get the custom 98 because I have an easier time modifying it than a pro carbine, and I like modifying markers.
As for barrels, you could get the flatline if you mostly play recreational or scenario games, it is good at shooting straighter over long distances. However, the flatline is a lot of trouble. It only shoots straight when you are holding the marker perfectly straight, if you tilt the marker to one side the balls will curve hard. Also, the paintballs lose some velocity due to the backspin that gives them lift. So, the paintballs appear to magically sail through the air slowly in a straight line. If you think this sounds good, cool, get it. I know lots of people who like it and lots of people who don't. Sorry I can't give you more definite advice. Good luck!
