Gently remove the valve from the receiver. Those two little screws that hold it in there will strip very easy, so be carefull when you put it back in. Then put it in a vise with two pieces of soft wood on either side so that you don't damage the valve. I use cedar, pine (no knots) should work. Have the hose facing straight up, and only tighten the vise enough to hold it still. Take a open end wrench, good quality not a cheap-o and not an adjustable, that fits good and losen the hose. Take it out of the vise and hold the hose facing down. This is so all the little chunks of the left over Loctite don't fall into you value and get stuck in it. Finish taking the hose off, then make sure you get any lose Loctite out of the valve before you install whatever you are going to.

: I am having trouble getting the steel braided hose off the valve. Do you have any suggestions on getting it off?
