: so what do you think is the best barrel upgrade for a 98 custom, a flatline or a boomstick?

Well it all depends where on the feild you play. as you probably know the flatline is a long range barrel. However it lacks consistincy, especially with co2. the balls sometime will curve to the left or right probably because of the back spin on the ball. A double regulator nitrogen setup will greatly increase the consistency and make the barrel more accurate. Now the boomstick is a highly precision machined barrel, with a super smooth polished finish inside the barrel which makes this barrel highly accurate, probably one of the mosr accurate barrels on the market. The down fall is the range. The fact of the matter is that the flatine is still the furthest shooting barell made. I would go with the flatline and mabye pick up another nice straight barell like one from custom products they are very nice and only like 60 bucks.
