: i have read aboult not getting an aftermarket bolt for the tippman. but i already have one in my gun what are the problems that are going to be assosiated with the bolt. any help thanks

I've heard alot of negative things about the after-market bolts available for the M98. The only thing I do know for sure is that the 32 deg 14" 'Quiet Riot' barrel wouldn't fit with the new bolt. It just never seated right. I don't know if it was a design problem with the new bolt or a shotty installation job done by the gun's owner. In my opinion, stick with the stock bolt. If you want to improve the internal action, polish the inside of the body and get a rear-cocking bolt kit. The rear-cocking action even out the action of the bolt as it moves back and forth. If you really want to improve preformance go with the low-pressure system.
