Hi guys,

John and I have been talking about this issue for
a while and have some more ideas on this.
Basically, the idea of porting the actual
housing of the gun might not be a good one
because the housing is much wider than the
back end of the power tube. The air
escapes around the bolt since the bolt is smaller
than the housing diameter. So, porting the
housing of the gun may work, but we have an
idea on making a couple of new parts for the
98 that will slowly port the gasses as suggested.
Also, use a rear velocity adjuster, as these
will reduce the amount of blow back gas coming
out of the CVX valve, even though the ball
velocity will be the same. This will also be
good because it will lessen the amount of air
consumption.

Good Luck,

Dan.
