i admit that it does seem to be a paradox, but i took mine to a local shop. when the man put it in, he stuck an allen wrench in the tightening screw and took it on around to the 6 o'clock position. his application of a lithium grease to the threads helped in this. he also told me never to use the loctite that came with the barrell, it will kill ur gun.
