Most tournaments will allow them if they are set to where they don't go into "runaway" mode (i.e. you press them lightly and it bounces your finger around and you get multiple shots), and they are locked down in that adjustment.

Really, the M98 has a remarkably light trigger pull for a blowback operated paintgun, and I don't think you'll be able to make it much lighter and still be reliable (aside from completely replacing it with something like the e-bolt system.)
