: right now im having a hard time deceiding whether to sell my 98c and invest on a a-5 or upgrading the 98c need help and other opinions

Right now the A5 is new to the market, it hasn't really been tested and evaluated, we don't know what kind of problems it may run into and right now there aren't any upgrades for it. The nice thing about the A5 is the feed system BUT after test firing it and getting a chance to actually use it, the gun feels kind of small, the hopper is in my opinion made of a cheap feeling plastic and next to the hopper there just a few to many things to get snagged and broken.

The model 98 on the other hand is a very solid gun, very few o-rings so there are less leaks. The gun has run the gauntlet, the only problems with 98's I have had are people taking them apart and losing pieces or putting them in backwards. Also there are upgrades for the 98c, expansion chambers, flatline barrel, response trigger, low pressure set ups, double triggers, electronic upgrades, etc.

My opinion would be to stay with the 98 and upgrade it. Give the A5 some more time on the market and see what problems (if any) it runs into before you invest $369 into another gun that just hit the market, in 6 months if you still want the A5 then go for it, or if you have the money now keep the model 98 as a backup and get the A5.
