You'll want a new barrel if you did decide to go with the SL-68II. BOA can make you one for a really good price, and their accuracy, I've heard, is very good. So, for $105 for the gun, and $50 for the barrel, you'll have an ultra-durable gun that can shoot darts with the best of 'em. Spring for a decent dot-sight and you'd be all set.
The thing about playing pump, or any "sniper/accuracy" style is to have the mindset of putting single shots into your target. Patience and practice are the hallmarks of a paint sniper. Be willing to wait for that perfect shot. Know your equipment inside and out, knowing what it will and won't do. Too often, people hit the field thinking they'll all bad-arse, but can't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing inside it! You have to practice with your marker... not just a dozen shots at the target range, either. Using the same setup for YEARS at a time will get you to this point. Not an easy route, but a rewarding one. Trust me! :)
