It works.

Your hopper will be to the left, which is better for coming out of a bunker on the right. The cap twists to stop the balls if you want for cleaning. The latch system works to rotate it open for cleaning.

As for the feed benefits gained by power feed, I haven't really had feed problems that needed correcting, when using the stock feed.
