Please don't refer to it as a GUN, it's called a **MARKER** ! If people start calling them GUNS then it will look bad on this great game !
As for your question it sounds like the ball detent, it holds your paint in the barrel before you shoot , it keeps the paint from just rolling out ! take your marker apart in a well lighted area & you should be able to see the spot for it! Use your manuel !
