: I am not looking at getting them all at once. After all I am making him earn the upgrades. I have not used the A5 and was wondering if it was that much better than the M98 in the long run? : Thank You. : : Slow down a little bit, the kid doesn't need a whole mess of uprgrades right away, buy him a stock m98 and as he gets older and his game improves he can upgrade it to the hilt. If he's only 10, and you only play rec ball anyway, there's no reason to go all-out upgrading right away. : : : I am looking at buying a new Tippmann for my son. He is 10 and has played with my Custom Model 98. We lay scenario games and rec-ball. Mine has a double trigger and a boomstick. Would it be better to buy a Model 98 and buy the double trigger, RT, and flatline or get the A5 and buy the upgrades for it instead. I am looking for the pros and cons of the decision. All responses are appreciated. : : : Thank You. I have the A-5 with a 10" armson pro-series barrel and GTA double trigger. I also have the collapsable stock for it. I run it off a CO2 (smart parts 30oz tank Action village) remote system and it works just great.I've played with the 98 and the A-5 and prefer the A-5 hands down. Faster rate of fire and no double feeds or ball breaks in the hopper or chamber with over 15,000 ball fired. Only other upgrade I'm going to get is the response trigger. Excellent gun for speed/recball or senario games. A-5 is a great all around marker.
