I've got the same issue with mine. My solution is to contact a field that carries Tippmann products in their pro-shop and purchase a new one. Remove the elbow, and unscrew the two Phillips head screws holding the latch to the elbow. Replace latch. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, serves up to 10. Oh wait, that's supper! :)
