You have to ask yourself a few simple questions. Have I tried each model? What type of ball do I prefer? (Speedball, woods, scenario? The 98 is longer and has all the upgrades available now. The flatline is good for longballin and is used by many rec. ballers and scenarion players. The A5 is shorter and can play bunkers a little tighter.) How much do I have to spend? (The 98 is costs less than the A5) How does each one feel to me? What do my friends use? (If you all use the same marker then you can share parts, knowledge, costs, etc...)
The decision is ultimately yours to make, but don't buy without researching the markers first. Your money is your money. Spend it wisely! Good luck. Play Hard, Play Safe, Have Fun. Paintball, This Sport Takes Balls!
