First, bear in mind that my Armson on my SL-68II was purchased new in 1992, long before there were Pro-Series, Stealth, or that SSR thing they've got now, but the rifling idea is the same now as it was a decade ago. I have a heck of a time shooting after a ball break. Accuracy out of a clean barrel is phenomenal, but once a ball breaks, it's out the window until you can really clean it out. In fact, I think balls hook far worse from a wet Armson than anything else I've shot. The big reason (other than the relative lack of aftermarket SL barrels out there) I stay with the Armson is that it IS that consistant and accurate before encountering a break. It's worth it to me.

Just to further muddy the waters here, have you considered a LAPCO or CP barrel? Both nice products, and Colin at LAPCO is a real Tippmann supporter. Something to consider there.
