: Personal taste. I prefer 14 inch barrels. I think it gives me just alittle more accuracy. I wouldn't recommend going much longer then 14, you start to lose efficiency.

i have tried stock 8" dye 12" stonecold2 20"and 18" and a lapco 14" on a a5 i would stay away from a 12 or 14 get a 16" but a lapco 14 is nice.
