I really don't know much about hoppers, but the mask can be whatever you want. I have a jt nforcer thermal and its cheap and awesome. Don't waste your money on an expansion chamber because they're worthless on the 98. You get no advantage at all. The double trig is your preference, (I don't use one). I've heard a lot of great things about the palmer and how consistent your shots are with it. The jj ceramic 14 inch works awesome on the 98, even though i havent tried any other ones, i was completely satisfied with this one.
