even though good distance is good to have, the problem with getting the ball out that far is getting the ball to break when it hits something. the flatline uses backspin to go long distances but at that distance the ball loses momentum and seldom breaks when it hits someone. you can easily shoot 50 to 75 yards (150-225ft) with a jj ceramic or something else and it will still break. every gun has limits, but the 98 can really reach out there
