i've been trying for a couple of weeks to make a silencer for the stock barrel for my gun. i got some 1 in gray pvc that is bigger at one end so you can link them together. the inner diameter tapers down from 1 in to 3/4 in. i drilled about 100 - 200 holes in it, centered it perfecly on the barrel and sealed the connection. i wrapped tape around the holes in the stock barrel. took a peice of 2 in pvc and got caps for the ends and drilled the correct holes in the caps. i lightly wrapped the core with clean rag and put the outer pvc on. then i drilled some holes in the outer pvc.

balls shoot fine and straight through the 9 in silencer but it isn't any quieter is there anything i'm doing wrong?
