That's not an entirely bad arguement at all, but it's not for everybody either. In my case, I went with the Palmer Stabilizer for several reasons. First, it is plain and simple a tremendous help right now without alot of fooling around. Plus, HPA will help my gun if I ever get it. And if I do get it, I will put my HPA bottle on my Stabilizer which will also benefit that air source. Another factor for me is that I have 2 CO2 tanks, and both of them will get me about 1800-2000 rounds on a fill with a total investment of $60. Even on my local field this is nice because if something goes wrong with one tank (stolen, stripped threads, blown burst disk, ect) I have a backup to go to and continue playing. The cost of 2 4500/68 tanks would be considerably more. Also in my case, I occationally go out with friends on weekends miles away from any fill station. Basically, you play with the toys you bring with you. If you run out of air, you're done. That $60 worth of CO2 tanks will have me playing alot longer than $400 of HPA tanks can.
