I myself got a Female Stabilizer with the mini-drop forward from their site. With a Custom 98, your other main option would be the Male stabilizer. These two comprize your main options.

The difference between them is that with your Female version, you will be in some way connecting it either directly to your remote bottle, or onto your grip in some fasion for the bottle to screw directly onto. With the male version, you will need to get a Vertical Adapater as it connects to the gun in the same way an Expansion chamber would.

I went with the female version for two reasons. First, to hold the forgrip with the male version, your hand is grabbing both regulator and gas line which I did not want to do. Second of all, I wanted to slightly alter the feel of the gun anyways. I'm 6'3 with fairly broad/high shoulders. A stock Tippman's sights force me to lower and stretch my neck to far to be comfortable on the fairly rare occation that I use the sights.

With the mini-drop forward, the gun becomes slightly shorter without ruining my vision of the rear sight. Since the drop still keeps the bottle angle, the gun holds slightly higher in your hands. That isn't anything I can explain well here, you just have to hold the gun to understand. But the net result is that if I shoulder my gun now, both my rear and front sights are directly in line with my eye. I can look through them and see the field, or close one eye to sight in without changing the possition of my gun.

One extra note, on Palmer Pursuit's web site you can see examples of customized setups. Here's the web page;

Hope that gives you a few ideas!

: I was considering getting one of these or maybe a regulator on my m98 custom.......any idea of how to install it and where it goes i just don't know where to start
