to me it sounds like there is a problem with your valve, by you saying that you have to "recock your gun" do you mean it does not cock after you shoot it, it would seem to me that the bolt stays foward holding open your valve open and letting out air, the spring in your valve might be bad, or maybe the valve is clogged up with something, can someone help me out here
