CO2

It prevents liquid CO2 from entering the gun

: why does it do it
It basically is a bent tube that goes into tank and prevents the liquid CO2 on the bottom of the tank from being drawn in.

: for what use would it serve 98PAINT or anyone else who would install it

It prevents the gun from freezing, velocity spikes etc... and is cheaper than an Xchamber. You can not use a remote system with though.
