this marker is designed for co2, it will work with compressed air if your output is 800+psi
if you are on one of these maybe you need a rebuild kit, also if your low on air you can have trouble.

: I have a 98 custom. No matter how far I screw the adjustment screw out it will only shoot about 250 or 265 fps. Does anyone know why? This is a stock gun running on high pressure air.
