Yes, that pinging you here if it is what I think you are describing is coming from your tank. I have a 98 that I have set up to be quiet real quiet(on par with my very quiet freeFlow and even quieter because you don't get the clacking from back hitting the body). But it "pings" to solve the problem a remote system is needed and the gun will be silent. When I run my gun on the remote system pinging is totally gone and the gun is whisper quiet. My gun has these mods, A full boar flush mount rear cocking system(no a rocket cock etc...), a tru flight barrel(I sold my boomstick as this is quieter and as if not more accurate and very cheap under 40.00), star bolt and an exp chamber(Also have double trigger but doesn't add to quietness of gun). With tank on the gun it is quiet but other say it sounds like a gun from Star Wars. With the remote it is whisper quiet.

: ive gbot my gun to be quite quiet, but it stil makes a loud pinging sound, like a ringing echo sound, from what i knw most tippmans make such a sound

: my question is if anyone has found a way to quiet or get rid of this sound

: if you have please let me know
