: the problem with my gun is it only shoots like 3 shots before i have to recock it again. its on a full tank of co2 on the first trigger pull it shoots 2 balls and then when i pull it again, it barely shoots any air out and doesn't recock. i used the same tank 3 days before and it worked just fine. if anyone knows whats wrong with it and how to fix it please tell me as soon as you can

I'll tell you exactly whats happened. The 2 screws on the side of the gun called, valve bolts are vibrating loose. When you took your gun apart and then put it back you tighten up the screws. I bought 2 brand new 98 customs, and both were doing it after the first time I took them apart. It was driving me crazy, the store reps kept telling me they thought the valves were going bad on the guns, but after I cleaned them the problem went away. I take my guns apart at the end of the day and clean them. and the problem was gone for awhile. I discovered the problem when I found one screw had completely fallen out. I fixed the problem by replacing the screws with 2 bolts size metric-5x8 8mm long, and put a lock washer and a regular washer under the head. I don't have the problem any more. I dont worry about lock tight either.
