the stock barrel has a huge bore and your j&j does not, so if you are using old or cheap paint it will break paint left and right. I use big ball in my dye excel with good results however when i go to a local field the field paint is kickn which breaks all day, second i broke good paint before it turned out that i didn't have the barrel screwed in all the way, wiggle the tip side to side (don't force it, it will move)while tring to tighten mine went a nother 1/4 of a inch then get out your allen wrenches and tighten the reciever bolts on the barrel end a tad more.
