Since you are in this forum, you'll notice that most of us are very biased toward Tippmann products. I have several 98s and A-5s, as well as, an Impulse and soon ordering a Cocker.

The 98C is one of the most trouble-free and reliable markers that I have used. It is very reasonably priced and easily upgradeable. There darn near unbreakable. I find Tippmann service to be excellent. However, I rarely use them other than for parts because the markers hardly ever break down.

I've seen Spyders that can really rock but, they do tend to be finicky. We all know the inherent problems with cockers despite their renowned accuracy. You just have to learn to not mess with them once the timing is properly set.

I don't know what your budget is but, I do suggest that you own at least one 98C as a back up or primary marker. Many days in the rain I have had to put the Impulse away and continue the day with my old reliable Tippmann.
