I help out at a local field in MD. The weekend after Christmas there were 13 brand new spyders that showed up at the field. Fresh out of the box they were all shooting 360+. After loosening the spring all the way they were still shooting hot. Every spring had to be cut to get the marker into safe range. Unfortunately, springs are hard to uncut. Certainly it is preferred to have an assortment of springs in your kit to fit the conditions of that particular day.
