M3 Electro Grip

Hi, I own a RAS Intruder which has spyder threads and most parts are identical. I was planning on getting the new M3 Electro Grip for my RAS. It says its compatible for all Spyders. My friend also owns a RAS and bought the ESP and the holes which you attach the drop forward/air system did not line up. He also said the striker bolt wasn't compatible so he is trading his RAS for a Spyder. I was wondering if this would also be a problem with the M3 Electro grip? Thank You
