Hey, I have finished an 3D AutoCAD 2000 model of a brand new paintball marker (no barrel) I've designed. The thing is, its only 4" long. And according to two experts, (My dad, and his co-worker, who specializes in hyduraulics and pneumatics) should work reliably, and be efficiant. It should be at least as reliable as a Spyder, but thats a worst case scenario, and at best rivaling an Autococker. The marker uses some new designs Ive developed that cut down size like crazy, and allow for the use of two re-cocking systems, with an Autococker front block, or my classified new one (no name yet) The other nice thing is that It should utilize the Autococker trigger frame, but possibly other ones might work too, Im not sure. Im in the prosess of making the prototype now, and will see where I can cut down size and other features.

A note, how do other players feel about size. Would you guys pay out $300 bucks for a very small, well balanced paintball marker, if it worked about as good as a cocker? I would, most definately, With my spyder, half of its 21" length is receiver. I want to keep my overall size to a minimum, with my marker, the length forumla is simple, 'b+3.5"=l, if b=barrel length (inches) and l=overall length (inches)'to measure the length in front of grip (length protruding from you) 'b-.5=p, if p=protrusion length.'
How does this sound to you, would I be able to market this sucsessfully? or are people happy with 3lb, 2 foot T-98s and Spyders?
