: Howdy: I'm embarking on a quest to turn my Pirahna STS (original) into a dedicated sniper weapon. The main stage of this is replacing the pistol grip with a synthetic rifle stock. If anyone has heard of this beiong done, please clue me in. Thanks.

Hey,
I've never seen a pirahna as a Sniper gun. Yours would be the first I know of. Replacing the pistol grip completely isn't a good thing with a stacked tube design. Is this pirahna a rear cocking? If it's not, than it should be like my spyder se. You have two options. First, look up the viper M1 gun. The manufacturer of that gun makes a telescoping stock for spyders and spyder clones (pirahana) that replaces the back block. It looks pretty cool. Then custom work for your front end to your specs. Second is taking a rifle stock and cutting it in half. Take the butt end and attatch it the same way as the stock mentioned above. take the front half and attatch it to the gun in front of the Expansion chamber. where the LP chamber goes. That way your gun has a wood stock that has a foregrip too. Looks more like a thompson machine gun (saving private ryan) than a Sniper rifle. For some cool Ideas check out Rustyspaintball.com and check out the gallery. E-mail me if you have any more q's.
