What you can do to reduce the noise of the paddles hitting the sides is heat each arm a bit and bend it upward so it won't rub on the shells. This also helps the servo spin a bit faster due to less resistance. : mine makes a bit of a buzzing and a bit of clicking as the paddles hit the sides. mine's converted from a 9v. most servos do make noise though.
