I have the old style, with the Smart Parts on it. Will the old style inserts fit newer back sleeves? I need to pick up a back for my mag. : I stick mine in from the back of the back end and then screw them together. Either way works, I don't think you can install it incorrectly. Did you get the old style freak (says smart parts on the back peice) or the new (says Freak on the back and has bubble stickers)? I've got the old one and am glad I did before they made those changes. The old style inserts were different as well, the bore size is lazered in two places on the sleeve and you have to put it in a certain way for the bore size to show up in the window, minor details but makes me wonder. A rub of a little oil on the fingertips to the oring inside the back end make insertion much easier, as well as the external one on the front end makes screwing them together much easier as well, don't use a lot, just bit or it might cause probs.
