how do they make paintballs?

I have found information on how to make paintball guns, cannons, and the like. But I have not found any information as to how an actual paintball (the gelatin shelled, paint filled projectile)is made. I have been curious about this but have not found information anywhere on it. Does anyone out there know how they are made?
