In my experiences with rifled barrels (Armson is the only mft.) in paintball they seem to work BETTER!!! than the smooth bore aluminums and the same as small bore plated or medium bore Stainless Steel.

with the right paint to barrel match (usually marbs or something close to it)--Impacting a spin will add more tighter grouping and less straifing due to windage = more on target and in some cases longer distance>>(depending on the effeicency of the marker)

However there are draw backs: Cheap paint or too small or too large will result in poor accuracy/breaks due to the rifling. and after such a ball break you're much better off bustin' out your stock barrel than to continue using the armson and/or attempt to field clean it>>(unless you carry around a Canteen).

I say go for it if you want a barrel that is made specifically for snipe (*sergical knife as opposed to a general purpose battle axe). but never forget HER drawbacks. . .
