For me, it is a dead heat. I own a freak, it is a great barrel, no doubt. But so is the pipe. Really it comes down to on a few things. The freak has a better range of fit. 8 INSERTS. And I also like the look of my freak, basic and unassuming. However, the pipe has 5 BACKS. Much tougher then a flimsy insert, but I don't care for the look. However, when it comes to changing guns this could be a problem also. With a freak, you buy a new gun, you buy a 80 dollar back and the freak will work on it. For the pipe, you need a whole new set of backs. Up to you man, but I love my freak.
