Some of the most valuable/useful tools in my toolbox are two pairs of Robogrips from Craftsman. Right next to them on the shelf pick up a box of the gold colored teeth covers, you can grab ahold of ANYTHING, round, square or irregular and get a good grip and not tear up the aluminum. Just be careful, the teeth cover eventually wear through and you'll ding up the aluminum. You can get 2 Robogrips and the teeth covers for less than $20, like I said 2 of the most useful tools in my box. Hope it helps. Razor : Also, I had a barrel stick in my trracer before, it turned out the gun lube made it pick up lint from my barrel bag and the lint hardened and jammed the threads. If you use vaseline or some kind of lube, put some plastic on the threads when you put the barrel away. Or clean it before use. : : Use a pipe wrench and go to town. But assuming you don't want to scratch up your marker or gouge out slices in your barrel you may want to try the following. Wrap a piece of leather (from an old belt or something) around the barrel first and then use pliers, vise-grips or what ever tool you might have. To prevent this from happening again, just rub a small amount of Vasaline on the barrel's threads whenever you do your cleaning. You can also use an o-ring on the barrel to keep a snug fit without having to over tighten the threads. : : : i cant seem to remove the barrel off of my cocker. it seems to be stuck. does anyone know what i can do? it getting to be a pain.
