I pulled something similar, actually I have pulled a couple good ones. about 40 feet away I nailed a guy between a pair of bunkers. Another one was at ten feet, I shot a butterfly out of the air. All of them without sights of any kind. Good old fashion cocker accuracy, and learning my gun. Not dissing sights, I just don't believe in them.
