I'm in the same boat dude. I have TONS of time invested into new ideas. I have spent, what, the last 2 YEARS trying to minimize and reduce the mass and size of my design, while trying to maximize the whole package's performance. Currently I have the system reduced to a bolt that is 1" long, and .68" in diameter (duh, lol) then a telescoping air-tube that attaches to it, and consists of a tube slinding in and out of another tube, with 2 o-rings to keep it good. on the opposite side of this telescoping tube thing, is a Autocoker stlye RAM with a direct attachment to the back block. The reciever has a feed tube on the VERY BACK, and from the feed tube foreward is just long enough to have threads for an autocoker or Spyder or something (whichever's shorter, lol.) Then below the reciever is a block that extends below the barrel and holds a mounting block for the other autocoker pneumatics (3-way, ram, and fore-grip) I'll need to drill into the side of that to mount an automag style line that goes from the fogre-grip to that telescoping tube thing. Basically, I have all this drawn out, and I've even got 3-D models in AutoCAD2001, but I have no way to make this thing. Unless I want to do the old-fasioned meathod of takeing brass tubes and soldering them togeter hoping it'll hold in the air. The other choice is to take a hack-saw to an old cocker and hope it works purty :) |
