Hey, are you sure you aren't a mad scientist instead of a PAINtballer. I totally agree with your theory (all of them). I am one of those people who emphasize a good paintball fit to your barrel. I think the reason people think that an accurate barrel shoots farther is because they don't understand how the paint should move through the barrel. If your paint slides out of your barrel when you load it in there to test the size, imagine your CO2. It simlpy pushes it's way around the ball, giving it less propulsion. Plus when a ball will slide out of your barrel with no help at all, your barrel gives it no guidance, causing it to curve paintballs when you shoot. When you have a tight fit, your CO2 can't get around the ball, and is forced to give it a nice big push out of your barrel. Your barrel sides also help give it more guidance when you have a better fit. Sizing up the paint has helped me to get a lot more eliminations. I hope all of this info will help the readers to...
