Hey man,

Most of those players probably called themselves snipers right? There are no rambos in a game with that many people. These people thought they could sit back, lob balls at you from a distance, and eliminate you as the weakest link (r.u. a survivor). What they didn't realize was even though they hit you from a distance, the paintballs had lost the velocity necessary to splatter. When you got close, the flatline is the worst barrel for close quarter combat. I do not have fancy guns, just a tippman c98 with a response trigger (no flatline just a lapco auto spirit) and a piranah with an e-force electronic trigger frame (that one I am upgrading for speedball).

But you are right speedball teaches you to work as a team, woodball (which I am playing next week)teaches you to sneak around, be quiet, and stock people. Both have their advantages, and I do play both (mainly because I am not a purist, I'll play wherever I can whenever I can). Sounds like you had a good time, but remember...

Shoot to thrill play to kill
