I forgot all about using private labs to do the actual testing (or doing it themselves... heh). : Tom :) Yep. And we can't forget PEC (protecteyes.org). The PEC logo on a goggle package means that the manufacturer promises they meet the ASTM standard, and has paid some money to PEC. Which, I think is a lot sillier than the original idea, in which the manufacturer would pay PEC to use the PEC logo, and could only use it if PEC was furnished with proof that an independant lab had certified the product to comply with the ASTM standards.
