I haven't heard of anyone with getting hit in the lip because of a the proflex, but I have heard of people getting shot in the throat, but technically I guess that could happen with most mask. Other than that, all I can really say, is that I have a spectra and really like it. Now you can find them really cheap if you look around online. : I'm a rec player looking to get a goggle system that meets these criteria: : * Thermal lens (must have) : * Wide field of vision : * Good (full) head protection : I have researched so many models my head is spinning. I have considered the following: : I'm concerned that althought the flex parts may cause bounces, that the balls may impact the face. I'd rather have a ball break than get a fat flip. : Please help!
