 I'm not sure if there really is a set standard for measuring barrel length. I bought a 12" Freak Starter Barrel with a Freak front that ended up being about an inch longer than my 12" Teardrop barrel. I've been told that Freak fronts on Freak barrels have longer inches than All-American fronts on Freak barrels.

So I'm just as confused as our original poster. :)
